Who doesn’t know the Love Parades from the 90s or the annual LGBTIQ Pride parades? We, too, want to state a loud and clear message – which is why, on 21 June 2018, we celebrate on and next to trucks, with music and – most importantly – with all people!

After the parade itself, at the closing rally at Heldenplatz, we will show what living inclusively can look like. Everyone is invited to join, dance, party, share stories, and raise awareness – whether in a wheelchair, on foot, with or without personal assistance, with carpooling, driving services, Faxis or bicycles. What’s important is that we create meaningful awareness. And of course, there will be food and entertainment.

The route

We gather at 10:00 am at the Rathausplatz (in front of Vienna’s town hall). Get your balloon and your band as a souvenir. The Austrian Disability Council (Behindertenrat) has also sponsored whistles – inclusion has to be loud!

(Trucks will gather behind the town hall starting at 9 am. Please let us know your license numbers.)

Parade: The parade starts at 11:00 am at Rathausplatz (in front of Vienna’s town hall). The parade will end at about 1:00 pm, at Heldenplatz.

Closing rally: The closing rally takes places from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Heldenplatz, featuring a diverse programme and info stands by participating organisations.

With the exception of snow or thunderstorms, the event will take place regardless of weather conditions.

‘Alle für alle’ – open air

From 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Closing rally with artists and info stands. We invite all participating organisations to set up an information stand and also present themselves on stage.

We’re currently working on a diverse programme with music, dance, poetry and much more.

Location of the closing rally: Heldenplatz, 1010 Vienna. The closest underground stations are Herrengasse on line U3 and Volkstheater on line U2 – you can also take trams 1, 2, D or 71.
